Enjoy organic Etna products

Start your wonderful culinary travel at 10:00 with a pick-up from your accommodation by a native authorized local guide/ driver. Continue your trip driving through typical Sicilian villages admiring local and authentic lava stone houses, orange and lemon plantations, olives and almond trees while listening to charming stories about Sicilian culture, tradition and food. Proceeding up until 1000 meters above sea level, you will discover the breathtaking Etna territory. Here, enjoy views of the best Etna vineyards surrounded by frames of lava stones.

After 45 minutes driving, you will stop at the first venue, a family run panoramic winery, where you will be welcomed with a glass of wine. After a guided visit of cellars, you will start your wine tasting with typical and organic cold appetizers. Tasting will include: glasses of Etna wine, locally produced cheeses, olives, sun-dried tomatoes and olive oil bruschetta. Your second stop will be in an antique and unique farmhouse/restaurant just 20 minutes driving from the winery. Here, you will continue your food and wine tour in a shadowy open-air terrace overlooking beautiful vineyards, farms and flowers. Tasting will include: local Etna wines, ricotta cheese with marmalade, grilled mushrooms, grilled sweet pepper, vegetable omelet, fried cheese and a pasta tasting with fresh local ingredients (black pork sauce, mushrooms, pistachio, aubergines, asparagus etc according to seasonal availability. Your local guide/driver will bring you back to your accommodation. Expected return will be at 16:00.
